Ann Arbor is located in the Midwestern State of Michigan, in the United States of America. It is the sixth largest City in the state of Michigan.

University Hospital of Michigan

Ann Arbor hosts the University Hospital of Michigan. Well known for its research programs and the availability of the best recreational facilities such as the Nichols Arboretum (Botanical Gardens), where people especially students spend time doing various outdoor activities to refresh themselves. The University is also in the vicinity of the Huron River, Hills and Valleys.

The Parks

The City also houses 157 parks for recreational purposes. It also comprises of the Matthaei Botanical Gardens with different kinds of plant and tree species. This is where you can’t stop being. The trees with their awesome shade are a good place to be, after that hot day of walking.

Commercial Places

Apart from having the best recreational facilities, the City has the major Commercial areas such as The Kerry town Shops, Main Street Business District, the State Street Business District and the South University Business District.
It also has other commercial facilities, south of the downtown namely, Ann Arbor Saline Road, Briarwood Mall and the South Industrial area. 
On the east side are Aborland/ Washtenaw Avenue and Packard Road area in the Northeast. On the West are the Westgate/ West Stadium. 

Architectural Styles

The Ann Arbor City also contains architectural styles ranging from classic designs to Ranch-style houses. Among them are the Kit houses. On the far end of the downtown District are the contemporary-style houses. 

Facilities

Of course one cannot stop talking about Ann Arbor without mentioning the surrounding of the University of Michigan Campus, where there are various houses and apartment complex which are mostly occupied by students. For instance, the Tower Plaza is located between the University of Michigan Campus and Downtown, and is the tallest building in Ann Arbor.
The City is also endowed with various educational facilities which include 21 Elementary, 5 Middle, 2 K-8 (Kindergarten to 8th Grade), 3 Traditional High and 3 Alternative Schools. There are various Private and Higher education centres too.
